We care about the impact we have on the environment, and we're doing
our best to reduce our carbon footprint. We've already made good
inroads into this, and are constantly seeking new ways in which to be
cleaner and greener.
How green are we?
Some of the measures we've taken are listed below. It's not only
about changing our habits in the workplace though - it's also
important that we help our clients to minimise wastage by supplying
and promoting the use of suppression files and data cleansing tools,
and using recyclable or environmentally friendly paper in their
mailings. More information about how we can help you to 'go greener'
can be found in our Environmental Policy - just email
claire.rogerson@uk.rapp.com for a copy.
Recycling
We've set up recycling points around the offices to encourage
staff to recycle paper and cardboard discarded in day to day
office use. We're looking into recyling plastic and glass, and
have recently started recycling scrap metal, pallets and shrink-wrap
materials.
Reductions in Energy Use
We want to reduce the amount of electricity we use, and have
taken significant steps to reduce over-all usage across our business,
including implementing new heat retention measures.
Monitoring and Evaluation
Just to make sure we're kept on our toes, we've put procedures
in place to monitor our performance. An audit programme and annual
review ensures compliance, proper implementation and effectiveness
of all our environmental policies.
